ARI's premium long grain brands such as AA, Adolphus and Green Peacock are all produced from the finest varieties of long grain rice and milled to the highest degree to generate white, separate, and full flavored cooked rice. For more economical requirements, CAM offers rice under the labels of Dragon, Comet 103, Oriental Queen and others. We sell both white and brown long grain rice packaged in a wide variety of sizes and package types.
If you require rice that cooks separate, with large fluffy grains, then parboiled rice is what you need. The process called parboiling, removes the outer surface starch from the rice, while steeping the natural nutrients into every grain. CAM offers several brands of parboiled rice to fit every need, including select variety Blue Ribbon Golden.
CAM also markets Calrose medium grain rice grown in California. Our Pear Blossom and Colusa Rose are well known in the Asian communities. Calrose medium grain rice is especially known for its sticky kernels, as many Japanese and Korean dishes require, or for desserts such as rice puddings.
